Krzewacki

According to Jurek Francuz: The Krzewacki family lived near the town center, and milled grain into flour.

According to Michael Pizer: The Perlmutter family came from the neighbouring town of Przedecz to Klodawa to manage a large flour mill owned by the Krzewacki family. The
Perlmutters lived in the Krzewacki home, as well as managing the mill. There were two Perlmutters, Guthca and Eda who survived the war and moved to Israel.

Passage from Michael Podchlebnik "Chelmno Survivor Testimony" taken in Kolo June 6, 1945: Generally we were fed well. That evening Krzewacki from Klodawa (whose given name I cannot remember) hung himself in the basement. Another Jew, whose name I cannot remember either, did the same. I was going to hang myself too, but was finally persuaded not to do that.
